Details
The UK government recognises that the CBAM is of significant international interest and we want to continue to engage with international stakeholders who have an interest in the functioning of the UK CBAM. This is why, at Autumn Budget 2024, the government announced the introduction of the UK CBAM international group.
This group will serve as a forum through which the UK government can communicate updates to UK CBAM policy design. It will also serve as a feedback forum where it would be helpful for us to gather views from other governments. Countries are invited to apply for membership to this group via the email address set out in the Terms of Reference. The group will meet at least annually with the possibility of further meetings where needed.
