Foreign Secretary James Cleverly met Republic of Cyprus Foreign Minister Ioannis Kasoulides in London on 15 November 2022 to sign a new agreement for closer bilateral relations between the 2 countries.

The memorandum of understanding will increase foreign policy, security, economic and educational ties between the UK and Cyprus. It will support joint co-operation on urgent global challenges such as climate change and Russian aggression in Ukraine.
