Annex to notice of requests for UK duty suspensions
This Annex sets out information about the requests as follows:
ID. This column includes the reference to be used when objecting to an application.
Product description. This column describes the product that is subject to the suspension request. Note that this is a provisional description based on information provided by applicants. If the request is granted, the description may be specified further to ensure it accurately describes the product subject to the suspension.
Applicable commodity code. This sets out which commodity code is applicable. Note that in many cases the suspension request only relates to a part of the commodity code. The full commodity code is in these cases therefore not in scope of the suspension request. This column is included for guidance and businesses should mainly consider the product description.
Company name. This column provides information about the applicant if they have consented to this being made public.
Objection procedure
You can read the guidance on objecting and download the objection form. Completed forms should be sent to TariffSuspensions@trade.gov.uk.
The deadline for making an objection is 11.55pm on 24 September 2021. Objections must be in writing and those received after this date will not be considered.
