Details

The 2020 compliance year in the EU ETS is reported on the basis of the Article 21 questionnaire drafted by the European Commission, while the report for 2021 is a UK ETS equivalent to the EU ETS Article 21 questionnaire. Reports for subsequent years will be made available on this page after each compliance year

The UK ETS equivalent to the EU ETS Article 21 questionnaire is an analysis of:

  • the allocation of allowances
  • the operation of registries
  • the application of the monitoring and reporting guidelines
  • verification
  • issues relating to compliance
