The Competition and Markets Authority completed a year-long market study into housebuilding in England, Wales, and Scotland with the publication of their final report on 26 February 2024.
This sets out the UK government’s response to the 11 recommendations from the CMA.
This is a response on behalf of the UK government. Many of the areas in the report are devolved matters and so are for the Welsh Government or Scottish Government to respond to.
