The UK National Screening Committee (UK NSC) first met in July 1996.

The UK NSC advises ministers and the NHS in the 4 UK countries about all aspects of screening and supports implementation of screening programmes. It is recognised and respected as a pre-eminent international body.

This report summarises the achievements of the committee over the past 25 years.
