Horizon 2020 is the EU’s flagship programme for science and innovation. This document provides an overview of the position for UK applicants after Brexit. It gives further detail about the UK’s commitment to guarantee funding until the end of Horizon 2020.

Current UK recipients of Horizon 2020 funding are invited to provide data about their projects on a portal managed by UK Research and Innovation (UKRI). The portal is designed to ensure that UKRI has the information about projects and participants in order to underwrite guarantee payments if required.
