Details

The UK Radioactive Waste Inventory 2022 contains all data relating to all current waste streams and those that are certain to be future waste streams. For example, in terms of waste from new build, the only live project currently is Hinkley Point C and so that is now included for the first time in this year’s inventory.

The Inventory for Geological Disposal looks at those wastes that will be destined for a GDF. It’s based on data from the UKRWI, but goes further by taking a more strategic look at the potential waste streams in the future that may have an impact on a GDF. It’s based on Government policy, industry plans and other public information.
