Details

This mission is expected to see UK astronauts fly to the International Space Station (ISS) to carry out scientific research and technology demonstrations, to prioritise achieving a strategic advantage across 5 critical technologies set out in the UK Science and Technology Framework and undertake education and outreach activities designed to engage more young people in STEM and future careers in the space sector.

The UK Space Agency is now requesting proposals for Science Experiments and Technology Demonstrators that could be flown to the ISS in late 2025.

To make information clearer, the UK Space Agency has separated request for proposals for the UK Astronaut Mission into 2 grant calls: Science Experiments and Technology Demonstrators.
