This report explores the theme of collaboration across two of the UK Futures Programme’s (UKFP) productivity challenges: the Offsite Construction challenge and the Management and Leadership challenge.

It considers the wider literature on the theme of employer collaboration, as well as the lessons that can be drawn from the UK Futures Programme. It outlines what factors make for a successful collaborative project as well as employers’ views of the benefits and barriers to such a project.
