Sponsoring family members
From 1st December 2013, the British Embassies in Abu Dhabi and Dubai no longer issue No Objection Letters to British nationals to sponsor their non-British spouse. We have notified the UAE Government. If required, we have produced a Sponsorship note British nationals sponsoring a non-British Relative which can be used as necessary.
YALLA magazine
A new magazine is available in Abu Dhabi putting you in touch with what’s going on in the capital. Yalla is a directory of activities and information keeping you informed. To contact Yalla email or check out their new Facebook page Yalla Abu Dhabi.

Magna Carta Event
UKinUAE along with New York University Abu Dhabi held a panel discussion on ‘800 years of Law: Magna Carta Past and Present’ at the University. We’re delighted Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the UAE, Philip Parham; David Carpenter, Professor of Medieval History from King’s College London; Thomas Cogswell, Professor of History from the University of California, Riverside could join us for this special evening. The discussion was moderated by Lubna Qassim, Executive Vice President, Group Company Secretary and General Consul, ENBD; UAE Alliances Director and a member of the British Business Group.
Dubai Rugby Reception
British Embassy Dubai hosted a Rugby World Cup 2015 Reception. Her Majesty’s Consul General to Dubai hosts a reception to mark the Rugby World Cup which is currently taking place in England. Click here for more details.
