Details

Qualitative and quantitative data was collected from businesses and agents to understand the cost to businesses of complying with HM Revenue and Customs’ requirements. The surveys of businesses and agents collected factual information on the time and cost associated with tax administration as well as general views on the process of complying with tax obligations. The research involved over 1,000 telephone survey interviews and 50 tele-depth interviews with businesses and tax agents.
