Details

This document highlights the life-threatening dangers of not using the correct cabling between vehicles and trailers.

A braking cable provides the electrical feeds for all braking functions from the vehicle to the trailer.

The cable transmits braking information between the vehicle and the trailer and without this the vehicle’s electronic braking system cannot function properly.
