Details

Cities are engines of growth and they will be critical to our economic recovery. The coalition government is taking action to equip Britain for long-term success by restoring health to the public finances and confidence in the economy through a balanced approach led by private sector growth.

To signal to cities that this government is open to bold ideas and a genuine transfer of power, we have set out an initial menu of things that we would be willing to discuss and negotiate as part of the deal-making process.
