Details

Interviews were conducted with key contacts across the NDA group to gather case study information on each UAV deployment; this included detailing the reasons for the use of a UAV, how the UAV was procured, any payloads carried by the UAV, and any learning from experience that resulted from the deployment. Future developmental areas were categorised through an assessment of UAV deployments in other industries, as well as from information on ongoing R&D work. In addition to the above, an analysis of the UK UAV market was undertaken to inform the viability of a Site Licence Company employing UAVs commercially in their decommissioning work.
