The use of Infanrix®-IPV+Hib, alongside Pediacel®, was introduced in 2014 as an alternative infant vaccine for the primary immunisation programme.

   The ‘Use of Infanrix-IPV+Hib in the infant schedule: information for healthcare professionals' guidance was updated to include advice on what action to take if an administration error is realised.

2. 19 August 2014

   The 'Use of Infanrix-IPV+Hib in the infant schedule guidance' has been updated to clarify interchangability of the infant vaccines and add references to information about the efficacy of different component acellular vaccines.

3. 28 July 2014

   Updated 'Use of Infanrix-IPV+Hib in the infant schedule: information for healthcare professionals' guidance to add additional guidance as to action to take when the vaccine is not mixed together prior to administration.
