Each year Ofgem collect biomass sustainability information from biomass generators claiming support under the Renewables Obligation. This is publish as raw data on the Ofgem website. This slide pack provides this data in aggregate form to show changes in wood use and imports over three years. It also shows the results of a survey the Department has carried out on large scale electricity generators using biomass on the expected wood use by these companies over the coming five years.
