It examines the potential impact on children and young peoples’ education and social care bodies of:
- using an individual’s NHS number when processing information about them
- sharing information where that is in the best interests of the individual
A consistent identifier is a code that confirms a person’s identity and enables appropriate information sharing once relevant agreements are in place.
