This rapid review aimed to identify and summarise the available evidence on the effectiveness of vaginal oestrogen in women who are experiencing peri menopause, menopause or post menopause to prevent primary urinary tract infections.

This rapid review searched for research published up to 26 February 2024.

No studies matching the inclusion criteria were found, so no evidence could be presented.
