Details

This guidance aims to help car and van manufacturers registering vehicles in Great Britain understand and meet their obligations under the Vehicle Emissions Trading Schemes (VETS) Order 2023.

The VETS Order creates 4 trading schemes – 2 for cars and 2 for vans. One car and van scheme implements a zero emission vehicle (ZEV) mandate. The other car and van scheme implements a CO2 regulation framework.

Car schemes may interact with each other, as may van schemes, but there is no interaction between car and van schemes.
