The tests make sure new products put on the UK market meet legal obligations.
They’re carried out by the Vehicle Market Surveillance Unit, part of the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency.
This report provides results from the 30 vehicles tested in the 2020 vehicle emissions testing programme.
This included:
- diesel cars
- petrol cars
- light vans
- plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEV)
- self-charging hybrid cars
- heavy goods vehicles (HGVs)
- public service vehicles (PSVs)
