The British High Commission in New Delhi and its offices no longer issue visa recommendation letters to British nationals.

Details
From 1 October 2013 the British High Commission in New Delhi and its offices in India will no longer issue visa recommendation letters to British nationals applying for visas to travel to any country. Visa officers are requested to accept a British passport as evidence of a person’s identity and nationality.
