The VMD received the following FOI requests in the second six months of 2016. Of the 28 requests:

• 7 sought information about certain veterinary medicinal products
• 5 sought information relating to the work of our Antimicrobial Resistance Team
• 3 sought ‘Corporate’ information
• 5 were requests related to our information and communications technology (ICT) arrangements
• 3 were requests for information about the Veterinary Products Committee (VPC)
• 2 were requests for information about Pharmacovigilance
• 2 were requests for information about residues
• 1 was a request for certain information we had already released
