This annual report details the UK’s efforts in advancing and promoting the Voluntary Principles on Security and Human Rights in 2017. The UK produces an annual report on its work as part of its membership of the Voluntary Principles Initiative.

The UK is fully committed to the development and implementation of the Voluntary Principles on Security and Human Rights, raising awareness and highlighting the work of the Voluntary Principles initiative in priority countries. The Voluntary Principles are an important tool for implementing the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights.
