Details of the application
Wates Developments Limited has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.
The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.
The application is for a full licence to abstract water from underground strata comprising of Lower Greensand at National Grid References TQ 21433 13055 and TQ 21404 13068 for the purpose of private water supply and spray irrigation.
The application is to abstract water as follows:

1 cubic metre an hour

25 cubic metres a day

7,542 cubic metres a year
-
between 1 April and 31 March inclusive in each year.
