The Welsh Government hosted an event in Cardiff with HS2 Ltd on how Welsh businesses could bid for contracts to build HS2.

The event, attended by over 100 Welsh companies, presented them with the opportunity to find out more about High Speed Two’s (HS2) procurement process and ensure that they had all the information required to bid for contracts.
Businesses attending the event ranged from large firms employing almost 5,000 people, to some employing fewer than 10, supplying a wide range of products and services from structural steel to engineering, along with health and safety providers.
These documents detail the English and Welsh versions of the presentations used at the event, and will help businesses who weren’t able to attend to make informed decisions about bidding for contracts.
