Whitwell Hall Farm Limited has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.
The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.
The following application has been made to replace, on the same terms, the existing time limited variations due to expire on 31 March 2018.
The application is to abstract water from a chalk borehole at Skeyton, Norfolk at National Grid Reference (NGR) TG 24120 25721.
The application is to increase the abstraction from 45,500 cubic metres per year (1,100 cubic metres per day) April and October for spray irrigation to 64,700 cubic metres per year. This increase is subject to suspension of licence 7/34/06/*S/0103.
