Report of a review examining the obstacles that prevent more women from reaching senior positions in business, using the number of women on FTSE 350 corporate boards as a starting point. Considers the business case for having gender-diverse boards and sets out some recommendations for achieving urgent change.

The review was led by Lord Davies of Abersoch on behalf of the government. See also the six monthly monitoring report for October 2011 and the first annual review.
