This memo is for Work Programme providers, senior performance managers and performance managers.
This memo was issued on 17 December 2018.
1. Background
A letter was issued to you on 8 November 2018 advising that the dedicated Labour Market Decision Making (LMDM) teams were moving from Merthyr Tydfil to Birkenhead from 29 October 2018.
The purpose of this memo is to inform you of a change to Work Programme provider guidance chapter 6 (raising a compliance doubt), following a change to the LMDM team.
All 3 versions of chapter 6 have now been updated to reflect this change.
2. Summary and action
The 3 versions of the guidance are:
- Work Programme provider guidance for contract package area 18
- Work Programme provider guidance
- Work Programme provider guidance: 2018 contract variation
This change will not affect your current arrangements for making sanction referrals for your Universal Credit participants.
Please ensure, with immediate effect, that the revised information in Work Programme provider guidance chapter 6 is used by you and all of your subcontractors.
