Precarious Futures? Youth employment in an international context is the fourth report in the UK Commission for Employment and Skills’ (UKCES) series on the labour market and young people. It provides an overview of the current state of the labour market and young people, and presents statistics on UK youth unemployment with international comparisons. Demonstrates the importance of access to the workplace, either through work experience or through opportunities to earn and learn (including apprenticeships as well as combining part-time work with full-time study).
