The Strategic Plan sets out the YJB’s vision:

Every child and young person lives a safe and crime-free life, and makes a positive contribution to society.

The YJB’s role in working towards that vision is described by its mission statement:

  • championing a child-centred and distinct youth justice system
  • developing a centre of excellence approach
  • driving continuous improvement

The Plan also covers what the YJB is, what it does and what it stands for.
