Details
The Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) intends to provide a grant to a voluntary, community or social enterprise (VCSE) or youth sector organisation, or a joint delivery body led by such an organisation, to deliver a £500,000 Youth Worker Bursary Fund.
The purpose of the Youth Worker Bursary Fund is to support a sufficiently qualified youth sector workforce, which will support young people to develop skills for life and work, and improve their mental and physical wellbeing.

Application details:
- Applications open from Monday 8 August 2022
- The deadline for applications is 23:59 on Sunday 11 September 2022
- Applications received before the closing date will be assessed after the closing date
- Applications received after the closing date will not be assessed

We will receive any clarification questions up until 5pm 25 August 2022. Clarification questions will be published on gov.uk on an ongoing basis.
We are not able to respond to requests for support in completing this application as this is a competitive process.

Successful applicants will be informed in September 2022. We expect the grant agreement will be finalised with the successful applicant in early October 2022. Exact timing may vary.
