Vocational qualifications are qualifications designed to fit a person for employment.

The National Vocational Qualifications included in these tables cover all those accredited by Ofqual and are competence-based qualifications built on national occupational standards and criteria established by Ofqual. This includes Vocationally Related Qualifications and Scottish Vocational Qualifications.

  2. Vocational qualifications by level updated to reflect latest data released in March 2017.

  3. Ofqual Vocational qualification data in these tables were updated on 15 December 2017. These tables were updated to include data for the fourth quarter of 2015/16 (Jul 16 to Sep 16), which will allow Ofqual to update their detailed bulletins that include these data.
