Details

This publication contains official experimental statistics on cases being processed by the 2012 statutory child maintenance scheme, delivered by the Child Maintenance Service.

DWP is responsible for the child maintenance system in Great Britain. It funds information and support for separating parents and runs the statutory child maintenance schemes, currently operated through the Child Support Agency and the Child Maintenance Service.

The statistics have been developed using guidelines set out by the UK Statistics Authority, and while they undergo evaluation they are labelled as experimental statistics.
