An annual report which presents data on absenteeism by persistent absentees and all pupils of compulsory school age (5-15) in maintained primary and secondary schools.

Details
Persistent absentees are pupils who have been absent for at least 20 per cent of the possible half-day school sessions for the year.
Information relates to the whole academic year for primary schools and for the period September to the late May bank holiday for secondary schools.
