Section 1 analyses the performance of pupils eligible for free school meals and their non-eligible counterparts at Foundation Phase to Key Stage 4, making use of pupil level attainment data matched to pupil characteristics information from the annual school census.
Section 2 examines the statistical relationship in secondary schools between free school meal entitlement and performance at a school and local authority level.
