The main points from the latest release are:

  • 28,620 individuals helped in the period April 2013 to September 2015
  • 7,690 individuals continuing to benefit in the period April 2013 to September 2015

We released this statistical publication according to arrangements approved by the UK Statistics Authority.

Access to Work helps pay for practical support for disabled people and people who have a health or mental health condition so that they can:

  • start working
  • stay in work
  • start their own business
