Details

The main points from this statistics release are:

  • 28,580 individuals were helped through Access to Work between 1 April 2014 and 30 September 2014
  • 7,000 individuals continued to benefit from Access to Work between 1 April 2014 and 30 September 2014

This release also provides data on the number of individuals helped through Access to Work by financial year between April 2007 to March 2014.

Data is broken down by a number of categories including:

  • whether existing or new individuals helped
  • primary medical condition
  • gender
  • age group

Due to revisions to data each quarter, the most recent publication should always be used.

Access to Work helps pay for practical support for disabled people and people who have a health condition so that they can start working, stay in work or start their own business.
