Details

This release presents estimates of the proportion of farm businesses in England that are carrying out agri-environment practices, irrespective of whether they are part of a Defra agri-environment scheme. Also presented are a summary of the reasons why farm businesses are, or are not, undertaking these practices, along with estimates of the time and cost involved. This data was collected as part of the Farm Business Survey (FBS), therefore, the estimates presented here are only representative of farm businesses in England with a standard output of at least 25,000 euros.
