The purpose of the ENEI's is to track progress against the broad ambitions of the Natural Environment White Paper. To communicate this to stakeholders and interested users and to provide a robust evidence base on which to base future policy interventions. The indicators selected for the publication have been categorised according to one or more of the ambitions.
