Ethnic group by age and sex, England and Wales: Census 2021

Using data from the 2021 Census, this article provides insight into ethnic groups by age and sex in England and Wales. The initial focus will be on the 19 ethnic group classification by age and sex. This will then follow on information into additional ethnic groups by age and sex from the detailed classification, derived from the available write-in response options to the ethnic group question.
