Reason for change:
The Criminal Justice System statistics quarterly (CJSQ) publication for Q2 2023 data was due to be released on the 16th November 2023, however, this has been delayed until 18th January 2024. As this publication is used in several chapters of the Ethnicity and Criminal Justice System publication, we have decided to implement a subsequent delay before publishing the 2022 report until 25th January 2024. This will ensure the figures for defendants prosecuted, convicted, and sentenced in criminal courts by ethnicity reflect the most accurate statistics available.
