Measuring tax gaps: September 2021
Statistics relating to estimates of tax gaps - the difference between the amount of tax that should, in theory, be paid to HMRC, and what is actually paid - for the tax year 2019 to 2020. The publication was originally announced for release in June 2021, but is delayed to September 2021 due to the disruption and re-prioritisation of resource related to COVID-19.
