Payment by Results statistics: October 2015 to December 2018

Proven reoffending statistics for adult offenders being managed by Community Rehabilitation Companies, under Payment by Results arrangements, and by the National Probation Service.

The release date has been changed

• Previous date: 31 October 2019 9:30am
• Reason for change: Over the summer, work began on expanding the Ministry of Justice’s extract of the Police National Computer (PNC) to include additional information covering many years. Carrying out this upgrade will allow our statisticians to improve the analysis we are able to provide. However, given the significant work involved in processing the data and the quality assurance involved, this upgrade remains ongoing. The release of the next Payment by Results statistical publication (i.e. Payment by Results statistics: October 2015 to December 2018), which relies on the PNC to measure proven reoffending will therefore be delayed. The next update of this bulletin is now expected to be published in November/December 2019 rather than 31 October 2019, with the exact date to be confirmed nearer the time.
