Police misconduct, England and Wales: year ending 31 March 2022
Statistics on the number of police complaints, conduct matters and recordable conduct matters finalised in the year ending 31 March 2022. Following the first edition of the ‘Police Misconduct, England and Wales’ statistical publication, the Home Office have been working closely with its partners to improve the dataset received. The development of this case-level police misconduct data has extended the time usually taken to produce the publication. As such, the publication of the ‘Police Misconduct, England and Wales, year ending 31 March 2022’ statistical bulletin has been moved to Thursday 12 January to allow sufficient time for the production and quality assurance of these data in line with the Code of Practice for Statistics.
