Statistics release cancelled
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Department for Education cancelled the 2019/20 and 2020/21 national curriculum assessments and associated data collections. As primary national curriculum assessments will be returning in 2021/22 for the first time since 2018/19, without any adaptations, the results will not be published in key stage 2 performance tables in academic year 2021/22. Therefore, this publication has been cancelled. Data at national, regional, and local authority level for the 2021/22 academic year will be published as usual within our national curriculum assessments at key stage 2 publications: interim (national level only - https://www.gov.uk/government/statistics/announcements/national-curriculum-assessments-at-key-stage-2-2022-interim), provisional (https://www.gov.uk/government/statistics/announcements/national-curriculum-assessments-at-key-stage-2-2022-provisional) and revised (https://www.gov.uk/government/statistics/announcements/national-curriculum-assessments-at-key-stage-2-2022-revised).
