UK Gross National Income for calculation of EU Own Resources
Under the EU withdrawal agreement the UK still makes payments towards the EU budget for years up to 2020. These budget contributions are not yet final for the years 2010-2020. This release explains the differences between the value of UK Gross National Income (GNI) used to calculate a major part of UK budget payments to the EU, and UK GNI as published in the 2021 Bluebook. This value, known as GNI for Own Resources, is published on the European Commission Europa website.
