This publication covers annual and seasonal outflow and rainfall estimates for the United Kingdom and its component countries since 1961.

Water use, water quality and the health of the aquatic environment are all affected by climatic conditions. Water resources, in particular, are greatly influenced by the interplay of rainfall patterns and highly seasonal evaporative losses.

The Environment Agency also publish monthly water situation reports. for England.
