Chain-linking in the UK National Accounts: Blue Book 2022

The coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has led to large impacts on the output and expenditure structures of the UK economy over this period, which will have an impact in how we compile volume estimates of GDP through chain-linking. We explain the proposed changes we will be making in Blue Book 2022 in response to these impacts.
