The latest release of these statistics can be found in the CM Options statistics collection.

These official experimental statistics provide data on the child maintenance arrangements made by separated parents after speaking to the CM Options service.

This publication includes the results of 2 surveys, the:

  • annual longitudinal survey
  • quarter 4 survey results (parents contacted CM Options between November 2018 and January 2019)

This release is the final publication of the longitudinal survey.

Due to recent changes to the CM Options service, an increasing number of interactions are taking place online. This means that a survey based on telephone contacts will no longer provide a valid measure of outcomes from the service.

Therefore, the release of the 2019 quarter 2 (May to June 2019) CM Options statistics will be the last publication in this statistical series. These are expected to be published in spring 2020.
